Our Statement of Faith

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe every Word of The Bible to be God’s Inspired Word and without error and that The King James Version of The Holy Scriptures are the closest to the original Greek and Hebrew text.  Scripture reference (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Revelation 22:18-19)

We believe in the Trinity, which means God The Father, God The Son and The Holy Spirit are One, according to The Holy Scriptures.  Scripture reference (John 1:1-4, 1 John 5:7, John 1:14)

We believe that Jesus is the beginning or first and the end or last (Alpha and Omega.  Scripture reference (Genesis 1:1, Revelation 1:8, Revelation 22:13)

We believe by accepting Jesus as your savior is how you gain salvation.  It is only through faith and repentance in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved.  Works can not save anyone.  Scripture reference (Ephesians 2:8-10)

We believe in discipleship and in missions and carrying out what God has called us to do.  We believe that all Christian’s are called to serve, teach, and witness for His Glory.  We believe in the work of the local church and the spreading of The Gospel to all nations.  Through love we believe in reaching all nationalities and cultures.  Scripture reference (Matthew 28:18-20)

We believe in the Sacred Holy Biblical marriage between one man and one woman.  We believe that any union outside of what God sanctioned, is an abomination.  Scripture reference (Genesis 2:18-24, Genesis 5:1-2, Mark 10:6, 1 Corinthians 7:2, 1 Corinthians 11:9, 1 Corinthians 6:9)

We believe that every life is precious and valuable in the sight of God.  We believe that abortion is murder and that it goes against The Word of God.  Scripture reference (Psalm 139:14, Matthew 10:30, Jeremiah 1:5)

We believe that God created all things by His Word and that all things were made perfectly, until the fall of man.  Scripture reference (Genesis 1:1-3, John 1:1, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12)

We believe that all men are created equal with a sin nature, however eternal hope is found through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Scripture reference (Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23, John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10)

We believe God placed the man as the leader of the church and likewise, husbands as the leader of the family, to lead, teach, love, correct and discipline according to scripture.  Scripture reference (1 Timothy 2:11-12)

We believe in the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper, which symbolizes the broken body and blood of Jesus that was shed for our sins.  Second, we believe in Baptism by submersion and that baptism is a public profession of faith that one has been saved by the blood of Jesus.  Scripture reference (1 Corinthians 11:23-34, Romans 6:3-5)

We believe in giving to God in tithes and offerings to maintain His House of Worship and to further advance the Gospel in our community and around the world.  Scripture reference (Malachi 3:8-10, Numbers 18:26, Acts 20:35)

We believe that Satan knows his time is limited and is doing all he can to seek out and destroy lives.  There is a great battle with the forces of evil to take souls.  Scripture reference (1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 12:12)

We believe that every living person has a free will to either accept Jesus as Lord and spend eternity with Jesus, or to deny and spend eternity in a burning hell.  Scripture reference (Genesis 2:16, James 4:17, Galatians 5:1, Psalm 9:17)

We believe that through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, Satan has already lost.  We believe that Jesus is currently in Heaven at The Father’s right hand, and we will one day meet Him in the air, when the Trumpet sounds.  Scripture reference (John 20:17, Ephesians 4:8-10, John 14:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)

We believe that there is still hope for the lost, until they draw their last breath of life.  Jesus despises sin, but He loves you so much that He gives the lost many chances to repent.  We also love the lost and pray that they come to repentance before it is too late.  Scripture reference (Romans 10:9-10, Romans 15:13)

All scripture references are from the King James Version of The Holy Bible.

As we believe that we should do all we can to preserve The Word of God, and we should do all that we can to defend the rights of the Church as Believer’s in Jesus Christ.  We put our faith solely is Him that saved us rather than in government and or worldly domain.  We will abide by the laws of land unless they are contrary to The Word of God.
